Dear Ms. German:
Re: Wendy Egbert-Swann Memorial Award
I would like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank you and the ASRA for supporting the students of the NAIT Captioning and Court Reporting program, and in particular, my progress in the program. It helps to know that the efforts and progress of students are noticed.
I did not know what court reporting was until a friend of mine persuaded me to go with her to the NAIT Information night. I decided that this program was what I was looking for and joined. Only after seeing my zeal after first-year did my friend decide to apply for the program herself. I am enjoying every step of my education, and I am looking forward to joining court reporters in industry to hone the skills I have developed. This award reminds me that all hard work is rewarded.
Sincerely,
Amanda L. Frank
We are pleased to present Amanda with this award in the amount of $500.00.
